America’s First Resort: Miss America Heads to The Palm Beaches for the 2026 National Competition

The journey to the crown has an exciting new host city. It was officially announced today that the next national competitions for Miss America and Miss America’s Teen will be held in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.
Following successful years in Orlando, the competition moves south to "America’s First Resort," where The Palm Beaches will serve as the backdrop for a historic week of competition, scholarship, and a special tribute to the 250th anniversary of the United States.
A New Chapter in West Palm Beach
The 99th Miss America competition and the Miss America’s Teen competition will utilize two premier venues in the city:
The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts will host the preliminary competitions and the Miss America's Teen Finals.
The Palm Beach County Convention Center will be the site for the Miss America Final Competition on September 6.
The 2026 National Competition Schedule
Mark your calendars for a busy week of events from August 31 to September 6. This season’s schedule includes several new and returning highlights:
Monday, August 31: The official Sign-In Ceremony followed by a Poolside Lu’au Welcome Dinner.
Tuesday, September 1: Miss America’s Teen Preliminary Night.
Wednesday, September 2: Miss America Preliminary Night.
Thursday, September 3: The Miss and Teen Talent Show.
Friday, September 4: Miss America’s 250th Tribute Gala Dinner—a patriotic formal event honoring the USO and Gold Star Families.
Saturday, September 5: The Miss America’s Teen Final Show and Coronation Party.
Sunday, September 6: The "Breakfast of Champions" followed by the Miss America Final Competition and Coronation Party.
