The 2025 Miss Massachusetts’ Teen competition took place on Sunday, June 22, at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory in Worcester, Massachusetts. Seventeen inspiring young women took the stage, each hoping to walk away with the coveted title and the opportunity to represent Massachusetts at Miss America’s Teen this fall.

After a memorable evening filled with talent, poise, and passion, Ava Dooley, Miss Freedom Trail’s Teen, was crowned Miss Massachusetts’ Teen 2025. Ava impressed the judges with a dynamic dance performance and a confident presence throughout the competition.
The runners-up were equally impressive:
First Runner-Up: Maddie Mathias, Miss Bay State’s Teen, who performed a jazz dance
Second Runner-Up: Lillian Annette Rankin, Miss Taunton’s Teen, who showcased an Irish Step dance
Third Runner-Up: Noelle O’Hanlon, Miss Boston’s Teen, who played the piano for her talent

This year’s competition was especially meaningful for Noelle O’Hanlon, whose sister competed in the Miss Massachusetts competition the night before. Her sister earned first runner-up in the Miss division, making it a standout weekend for the O’Hanlon family.
Sunday’s event also marked the farewell of Maggie Leighton, Miss Massachusetts’ Teen 2024, who passed on the crown after an impactful year of service. Maggie is headed to Harvard University in the fall and leaves behind a legacy of intelligence, compassion, and ambition.

Ava Dooley will now go on to represent Massachusetts at Miss America’s Teen, joining Khailah Griffin, the newly crowned Miss Massachusetts 2025, at the national competition. Both women will travel to Orlando this September to compete at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts as part of the Miss America 2026 event series.
