The Road to Miss America 2027: First State Titleholders Crowned

The competition season for the Miss America Opportunity is officially in motion. While many candidates are in the final stages of preparation for June, five titleholders have already secured their positions to represent their states.

Following the schedule outlined in our Ultimate Guide to the 2026 State Competition Dates, the first wave of competitions has concluded. These 2026 state titleholders will spend the upcoming year serving their communities before heading to the national stage to compete for the title of Miss America and Miss America's Teen 2027.

Meet the Newest State Representatives

Join us in celebrating the first representatives of the new season. These young women have demonstrated excellence across all phases of competition and are ready to begin their year of service.

  • Miss Louisiana’s Teen 2026: Ava Martin (Crowned April 12)

  • Miss Rhode Island 2026: Mia Daley (Crowned April 25)

  • Miss Rhode Island’s Teen 2026: Honisty Baker (Crowned April 25)

  • Miss Vermont 2026: Hannah Roque (Crowned April 26)

  • Miss Vermont’s Teen 2026: Zoey Clopton (Crowned April 26)

Congratulations to these five individuals. Their early victories provide them with a full year of momentum to promote their community service initiatives and prepare for the national competition.

Upcoming State Competitions

The momentum continues as we move further into the spring. Several states are scheduled to crown their representatives in the coming weeks.

  • New Hampshire: The Granite State is up next! The competition runs from April 29 to May 2 at the Stockbridge Theatre in Derry.

  • Puerto Rico: Mark your calendars for May 3, when the next representative from the island will be named.

  • Montana and South Dakota: The season heats up at the end of the month with both states holding their competitions May 28 to 30.

  • Kansas: Rounding out the month, Kansas kicks off their competition week on May 31.
