Conflicting Statements Surround Ownership of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA

The pageant world is buzzing after two conflicting announcements regarding the ownership of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.

Earlier this week, businessman Thom Brodeur posted on Instagram that he had acquired Miss USA and Miss Teen USA with a 10-year exclusive license. Brodeur, who has an extensive background in the beauty and pageant industries, shared that he plans to modernize and revitalize the brands with a clear vision for the future.

However, shortly after, the official Miss USA Instagram account released a statement from current license holder Laylah Rose. In her statement, Rose confirmed that she remains the current license owner of the Miss USA Organization and said she has not been contacted about, nor has she seen, any new contracts regarding a transfer of ownership. She emphasized that the organization is not aware of any ownership changes for Miss USA or Miss Teen USA.

Rose also assured followers that any future developments would be communicated with transparency and integrity, safeguarding the legacy of the historic organizations.

At this time, the Miss Universe Organization, which oversees Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, has not issued a statement.

This developing story has left the pageant community watching closely to see how the situation unfolds and what the future holds for both brands.
