Earlier this year, Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025, beginning a new chapter in a journey she’s been building since the ninth grade. With years of experience in pageantry and a strong foundation in community service, Jenna is now preparing to represent Connecticut on the Miss USA stage.

For Jenna, the Miss USA competition was always more than just a show. “Growing up, I always watched Miss USA and Miss Universe and admired the women who competed,” she shared. “They weren't just beautiful on the outside. They radiated inner strength and passion for making a difference in the world.” After seeing a pageant advertisement online, she entered her first competition and immediately fell in love with the experience. The support she received in her early days with the Miss USA organization made it feel like home. Now, she is thrilled to be stepping onto the national stage.
Jenna plans to use her title as a platform for advocacy and impact, focusing on causes close to her heart. One of her biggest passions is mental health awareness. As someone who has experienced anxiety firsthand, Jenna is open about her story to inspire others. She also honors the memory of a close friend lost to suicide by working with organizations like Girls Inc., NAMI, and P.S. I Love You Day.

In addition, Jenna is committed to raising awareness for breast cancer after losing her cousin earlier this year. “It was one of the most difficult experiences of my life,” she said. “Now, I’m turning my pain into purpose.” Her platform allows her to educate, uplift, and connect with others going through similar struggles.
When asked what excites her most about Miss USA, Jenna said she looks forward to meeting the incredible women from across the country. She’s eager to build friendships, create lasting memories, and amplify her message on a national level. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect, grow, and support one another,” she said.
Outside of pageantry, Jenna is a successful real estate agent who also happens to love good food. A proud Connecticut native, she gives high praise to her favorite Italian restaurant, Mario the Baker in Bridgeport. She says the people and the local food scene are what make Connecticut special.
Jenna also wants everyone to know that being Miss Connecticut USA is a job rooted in service and connection. “It’s about using your voice to make a real difference,” she shared.
Preparation for Miss Connecticut USA was both physical and emotional. Jenna trained with fitness coach Angelo Frasier, worked on her interview and stage presence with Gina Mellish and Andreia Gibau, and designed a stunning custom red gown with Yalenis. Beyond the rehearsals and wardrobe planning, she also made time for reflection. “I really thought about the kind of impact I wanted to make during my reign,” she said. Her goal was to stay present and enjoy every part of the process.
As she now sets her sights on Miss USA, Jenna welcomes support from her community. “Your encouragement means the world to me,” she said. You can follow Jenna’s journey on social media and cheer her on as she continues to make Connecticut proud.
