Miss Whitman’s Teen Olivia Villandry Hosts Free Beginner Tap Class

Miss Whitman’s Teen Olivia Villandry is sharing her love of dance with a special community event designed to welcome children of all ages and abilities. On Tuesday, June 3rd, Olivia will lead a free beginner tap class at the Burtwood School of Performing Arts in Middleborough, Massachusetts from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.

No dance experience is needed to attend, just a willingness to have fun. This class is a perfect opportunity for children to explore the basics of tap dance in a supportive and inclusive environment. Donations are not required but are encouraged to benefit the Keeping Pace Dance Program, an organization close to Olivia’s heart.

This initiative is part of Olivia’s Community Service Initiative (CSI), which focuses on making dance education accessible to children of all abilities. As a volunteer with Keeping Pace, Olivia has seen the impact that inclusive dance programming can have, and she’s committed to bringing those same opportunities to communities across Massachusetts.

“I believe every child should be able to experience the joy, creativity, and confidence that dance can bring,” Olivia shared. “Hosting this free class is just the beginning. I plan to continue organizing similar events in other areas of the state to help even more children discover the many benefits of dance.”

Special thanks go out to Lorna, Maureen, and Nikos at Burtwood for their support in making this event possible.
